JOE FIRSTMAN ANNOUNCES SUMMER TOUR DATES
The Firstman Family Affair presented by
CarsonDaly.TV begins July 11th in Denver, Colorado
Los Angeles, CA – LA-based musician Joe Firstman has announced the dates
for his 2008 summer concert tour, The Firstman Family Affair, presented by
CarsonDaly.TV. The tour will feature Joe Firstman, Tony Lucca and Brian Wright
& The Waco Tragedies, performing at some of the country’s most intimate and
authentic venues.
"Virtually
every celebrity guest that walks out to the couch on Last Call talks about how great Joe Firstman and our house band
are,” says Carson Daly, host of NBC’s Last Call. “I'm thrilled to be a
part of his summer tour and look forward to being his roadie on some select
dates,” he jokes. “If you’re a fan of
real music and want to see an amazing live show, this tour's for you."
The tour begins in July with the
opening show at the Soiled Dove in Denver, Colorado and ends with a concert at The Parish Room in Austin, Texas. The trio will make stops in Sioux Falls, Omaha, Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, Easton, Charlotte, Columbia, Atlanta and Birmingham throughout July and August, with CarsonDaly.TV as the
title tour sponsor.
Firstman is no stranger to the
limelight, having collaborated with music great Bernie Taupin and writing songs
for Jewel and the house band on “Last Call with Carson Daly.” His tour mate Tony
Lucca won the LA Music Award in 2001 for best singer/songwriter, and has a
national following devoted to his folksy, poetic songs. Lucca has shared the stage with Macy Gray and Johnny Lang, and
recently completed the EP Close Enough.
Brian Wright rounds out the group with his soulful lyrics and a new CD, Bluebird.
“Tony, Brian and I have been
playing together for years,” says Firstman. “We’ve been talking about putting
together a tour for a while, and this summer seemed like the right time for
it.” Firstman and Lucca’s bluesy collaborations with Wright’s unique blend of Folk
and Americana have been widely popular, packing houses across the
country.

him on Last Call with Carson Daly on NBC, airing week nights at 1:30 a.m.
